LinkedIn will compete with Spotify with this novelty

Stay away from Spotify, because LinkedIn will also have their podcasts . The professional social network is working to carry out a new project and it is the incorporation of a podcast platform with programs prepared by the company’s internal team, in addition to a series of figures from the executive and business industry.

These new LinkedIn podcasts are intended for a professional audience. They will be mainly focused on topics related to technology, entrepreneurship, mental health and selection processes in large corporations.

LinkedIn podcast content

One of the first podcasts to be broadcast is that of Reid Hoffman, co-founder and CEO of LinkedIn , who will co-host a space specializing in personal entrepreneurship, it will be called “The Start-Up of You” and will be available from spring.

This new space is called the LinkedIn Podcast Network , a pilot inspired by the success of the Hello Monday podcast, which was produced by LinkedIn News and hosted by host Jessi Hempel. This space delves into the evolutionary nature of work.

LinkedIn’s new podcast network will initially feature a slate of 12 shows called “LinkedIn Presents” and will be hosted by executives including Morra Aarons-Mele, Rufus Griscom, Mita Mallick and Dee C. Marshall.

Podcast hosts will be able to further connect with audiences on LinkedIn through live events and other tools directly on their profiles to engage beyond each broadcast episode.

All of these shows will have embedded advertising with a telecommunications-linked sponsor. These podcasts can be listened to directly on LinkedIn , it will be enough to follow the hosts and subscribe to the newsletters to be able to receive each new episode. They will also be available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify and other podcast platforms.
